Skiing

In winter months there are plenty of opportunities for skiing or cross-country skiing. The b&b is only 10 minutes drive from the largest ski resort in Carinthia, Peca. In Mežica you have the opportunity to cross-country ski in the stadium (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays the track is illuminated) and another cross-country track is located on 'Ručnik's meadows'. A smaller ski resort with night skiing (suitable for children, beginners and families) is located in Črna na Koroškem. Down the valley in Ravne na Koroškem is the Poseka ski resort, where night skiing is also available. You will find another smaller ski resort in Kotlje. A little further away, and above the city of Slovenj Gradec is the Kope ski resort.
